Comments please? I never understand why I get favorites, but nobody comments. *sigh*

Had all kinds of problems painting this one. A spot that came out of nowhere and I had to try and make it look like a bird. Lumps in the gesso that I SWEAR weren't there when I started the painting.

I spent a good deal of time trying to glaze my paints. Especially on the water. I'm not sure if it made that big a difference or not, but it sure was time consuming!

I found out if you accidentally glaze yellow over chromatic black it will turn green. lol

water!!! i'm trying to draw scenery nowadays, and i have problems trying to depict water. and like you, i too am scared... but it's okay i guess. after all, YOU inspired me to try it in the first place!
