blue oceanssmooth blue sheets,
become a wild ocean
as i dive into their waters.
-
pulling them close and inhaling.
i imagine the smell of
sea, and salt, and sand.
-
picturing white seagulls and
puffy clouds dancing
above my head.
-
but when i think of you,
the tide pulls me back to
realize,
-
my sheets arn't even blue.

Dreams of EternityWhen my dreams shattered,
And I didn't know what was left

When the world I knew rejected me,
I dreamed.

I fell asleep on concrete sheets,
And rested on dirt pillows,
Under leafy dream catchers,
Floating in a green mattress.

I dreamed of the life I knew,
But wasn't strong enough to keep holding onto

The only reason I stayed for so long,
was you.

Now if I woke up,
Would I awake to tears,
Crying because you're not here

Because it was my decision to leave...

Not like the time I left for a year,
Then returned with smiles and new friends
But when my wish of dreaming forever,
And never waking up was granted.

Will I see you in my

Love's Eternal BloomWing'd love's arrow, in perfect persuasion,

My heart (guarded by thorns and sanguine leaves)

Did pierce soon as she mine eyes had perceived,

And thus bloomed upon fateful occasion.

In truth, my tale could scarcely be believ'd

That inconsistent fate was to be blamed

For our affliction, which dare not be named

Since so early each other we had received.

Slav'ry would not be found within our bond;

And our lips will never touch another's.

Shards of the same soul, together belong'd,

Rejoined to become ardent lovers.

Love, with one swift glance, my guard did surpass.

This kind is the love that will forever last.

I sought among the falling leaves
Of yellow, orange and brown -
Peeking in between the trees,
Peering up and glancing down;
I'm looking for those little Things
Of make believe and children's dreams,
Who flit about on gossamer wings
That glitter in the sunshine's beams.

Butterflies and DaffodilsWhen the light honey of summer begins to die away
When the aroma of butterflies and daffodils paints poignant memories in you
When you can see the sea waves ruminating in the clouds above your head
I hope as the wind tickles your neck you think of me
And when the sunny stars, drawn together in their constellations, reflect your dreams
When you swear the reeds brush together in that same symphony
When you pass by strangers on the street, smell that familiar perfume again
I hope you see my eyes
And as the winter chill comes howling through the cracks in your window
When the snow sinks cold into the depths of your lonely skin
And you don't dare weep for fear the tears will spear down in ice from your face
I hope for once you feel my lips and arms
When the crickets arrive again and your out on that deck again
With your virgin fingertips strumming the same strings on the same guitar
When the melody lifts into the fragrant night air like laced kisses to the stars again
I hope you hear me sin

Why ElseLet me sing

Please give me the freedoms

I don't know what I've done.

These restrictions on my soul
Are killing me slowly.

I bleed from wounds

DemonI am a demon

My eyes shine red and my fangs lust for the taste of blood
With horns on my head and claws on my hands
I lurk in the dark, waiting for my prey

I am a demon

My soul is consumed with darkness and i don't have a heart
With nothing but hate by my side, I crush hopes and dreams without remorse
Nor a smile or tears will ever come from my face
And I've long ago forgotten what the words "friend" or "comrade" mean

Feared by every soul, not even death cherish my life
I stand above humanity, but I am still less than strays?
I have taken everything, still my hands hold nothing
